Mentor: LTC John Cross, USA (Ret)

LTC John Cross graduated from West Point in 1993 and entered the Army as an Infantry Officer. He served in leadership positions from the platoon to division level. He commanded two companies in the 101st Airborne Division and an infantry battalion in the 1st Infantry Division. Following battalion command, he worked with college students at West Point and in ROTC. During these seven years, the Lord gave him a passion to continue developing future officers – but from a faith perspective – upon his retirement. John now serves with Valor, a campus ministry that focuses on ROTC & service academy students as they seek to integrate their faith with their future service as military officers.
