GIVING TUESDAY
GivingTuesday is an annual global movement to encourage generosity during the holiday season, specifically on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving Day (December 3, 2024). For the fifth year in a row, Spring Canyon is launching a GivingTuesday campaign. This year, we’re raising funds to renovate the left side of the Kuykendall Staff Duplex. This side of the duplex has not been significantly updated since it was built in 1999.
Needed updates include new kitchen countertops; new flooring and paint throughout the house; as well as ceiling repairs from past roof leaks and leaky faucet replacements. These updates will be a good step forward in addressing Spring Canyon’s greatest facility need: staff housing. Our goal is to raise $15,000 to fund these much-needed renovations. Your generous donations will be put to tangible use as we renovate Kuykendall House this winter!

Spring Canyon’s GivingTuesday History
The ministry of Spring Canyon thrives because of generous donations from people like you. Through our GivingTuesday campaigns alone, we have funded the purchase of two “new-to-us” Suburbans (GivingTuesday 2020), upgraded our audio-visual capabilities in Hartley Holmes Lodge (GivingTuesday 2021), funded the new infrastructure to extend internet to all our guest facilities (GivingTuesday 2022), and purchased a “new-to-us” skid steer (GivingTuesday 2023). We’re so grateful to all the donors and volunteers who make ministry to the military community possible at Spring Canyon!
